Donna (Marie Donnabelle) Napala
As a counselling intern, I am dedicated to creating a warm, supportive, and inclusive space where clients feel safe to explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences. I am currently pursuing my Master’s in Counselling at City University, with a passion for working with children, adolescents, and young adults navigating a wide range of emotional and developmental challenges.
Originally from the Philippines and now living in Canada, I draw on my lived experience as an immigrant to connect with clients navigating identity, cultural transitions, and the complexities of belonging.
My clinical interests include supporting individuals experiencing anxiety, trauma, and life transitions, as well as working closely with neurodivergent children, including those with ADHD and autism spectrum disorders. I take a client-centered, trauma-informed approach and draw from modalities such as cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and developmentally appropriate expressive techniques.
With the guidance of licensed supervisors at Innerlogue Therapy, I strive to build strong therapeutic relationships rooted in empathy, trust, and collaboration—empowering each client to better understand themselves and develop the tools they need to thrive.
