Gabrielle Pereira
Hi, I’m Gabrielle, a Provisional Psychologist who believes that healing happens when we feel genuinely seen, heard, and supported. My approach to counselling is compassionate, justice-oriented, and grounded in Person-Centered and Feminist Therapy. I see my clients as the experts in their own lives, and I aim to create a space built on collaboration, authenticity, and respect. Together, we’ll explore your inner strengths, challenge limiting narratives, and reconnect with your values to foster clarity, confidence, and lasting change.
As a woman of colour, I understand how social and systemic factors shape our mental health. I bring a culturally informed and trauma-aware perspective to my work, holding space for your unique identities, lived experiences, and the broader contexts that influence your well-being. I’m especially passionate about supporting BIPOC and 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals, as well as those navigating neurodivergence, identity exploration, major life transitions, or simply feeling stuck or overwhelmed. You don’t have to face it alone — we can work through it together.
I draw on Strengths-Based Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Gottman Method Couples Therapy to help individuals and couples build self-awareness, strengthen communication, and create lives that align with their values. My goal is to provide a safe, non-judgmental space where you can develop self-compassion, find balance, and move toward meaningful growth.
