Donna (Marie Donnabelle) Napala
I’m a counselor who believes that feeling seen, heard, and understood can be a powerful starting point for change. I strive to create a warm, supportive, and inclusive space where you can show up as you are and explore your thoughts and emotions at your own pace.
I work with children, adolescents, and adults navigating anxiety, life stress, transitions, and emotional challenges. I also support parents and families, including those raising neurodivergent children such as those with ADHD and autism.
Originally from the Philippines and now living in Canada, my own experience as an immigrant shapes how I connect with clients working through identity, cultural transitions, and questions of belonging. I aim to offer culturally sensitive, respectful care grounded in your unique story.
My approach is client-centered and trauma-informed, and I draw from cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and expressive techniques that are developmentally appropriate. Above all, I value building a genuine, collaborative relationship where you feel supported in understanding yourself and finding ways forward that feel right for you.
