Many of us carry wounds from that past that show up in unexpected ways, such as
anxiety, depression, PTSD, suicidal ideation, compulsions, phobias, people-pleasing or
struggles in relationships. If this feels familiar, you are not alone. These symptoms are
often coping strategies we developed at a young age to survive, but they may no longer
serve us now. My goal is to help you move from surviving to thriving so that you can
build the life you truly want.

I support teens (15+) and adults who feel ready to process their trauma, especially for
those who have found that talk therapy alone is not enough. I use Attachment-Focussed
EMDR to help your brain reprocess painful experiences so that they no longer feel like
they are happening right now and instead feel like a thing of the past. While traditional
EMDR is very effective for single-incident traumas, Attachment-Focussed EMDR
expands on this to also address complex trauma and early attachment wounds. I also
work from a curious stance to gently explore the parts of you that carry trauma and
connect you with the strengths and resilience of these parts.

As a first-generation immigrant, I understand the complexities of navigating multiple
cultural identities. I take an intersectional and culturally sensitive approach to support
you in discovering and embracing your authentic self. I offer therapy in both English and
Mandarin. For clients who desire it, I can also integrate a Christian perspective into
therapy to support you in a way that aligns with your faith.
