Johnathan Lin
Hi! My name is Johnathan (林均). Have you ever felt that you had to hide certain struggles because of your cultural background, family expectations, or the roles you were expected to fulfill? As a first-generation Taiwanese Canadian, I have firsthand experience navigating multiple cultural identities, life transitions, and the unique challenges they present.
I am passionate about reducing the stigma surrounding mental health and supporting individuals in developing a deeper connection with themselves, their values, and the life they want to create. I offer a safe, compassionate, and collaborative space where you can explore your inner experiences, feel empowered to be your authentic self, and gain a clearer understanding of what truly matters to you.
My approach is culturally responsive, person-centred, and tailored to your unique experiences, strengths, needs, and goals. Using evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and a person-centred framework, I aim to help you understand your thoughts, emotions, behaviours, and values, and explore how they influence the life you’re living and the life you want to build, so you can make meaningful changes that last.
Life can feel overwhelming at times… You don’t have to navigate it alone.
