Lauren Janzen
I am Lauren Janzen, a Master of Counselling Psychology student, and I’m here to support you in making sense of your experiences, building a stronger sense of self, and finding ways to move forward with greater clarity and confidence.
I’m passionate about helping individuals navigate their emotions, relationships, and the beliefs they may feel stuck in—especially those shaped by past experiences. I aim to support clients in gently challenging these patterns, while building self-compassion and a deeper sense of worth. I also believe in working collaboratively to problem-solve areas where you may feel stuck, while validating the parts of you that may feel uncertain or “not enough.”
My approach to therapy is warm, compassionate, and down-to-earth. I strive to create a space where you feel genuinely heard, supported, and valued—no matter how big or small your concerns may seem. I also care deeply about de-stigmatizing therapy and making it feel approachable, engaging, and even something you can look forward to.
Your experiences matter and deserve to be met with understanding, not judgment. If you’re ready to explore your thoughts and emotions, strengthen your sense of self, and create meaningful change, I would be honoured to support you in that process.
