Leela Boustie-Briggs
Hello! My name is Leela Boustie-Briggs and I am a Master’s level Counselling intern who is passionate about creating a warm, welcoming, and comfortable space where you can feel at ease being yourself. I understand that starting therapy can feel like a big step or cause uncertainty. You don’t have to have everything figured out to begin! My goal is to help make that first step feel a little easier, and to offer a space that feels supportive, relaxed, and grounded in genuine connection.
My approach is primarily person-centred, meaning I focus on meeting you where you are and working together in a way that feels right for you. Building a trusting relationship is at the heart of my work, and I aim to create a space where you feel truly heard, understood, and respected. From there, we can explore your experiences, develop helpful coping strategies, and support meaningful growth at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
I have a particular interest in working with individuals living with chronic illness, women’s issues, and those navigating anxiety, stress, and life transitions. I approach this work with care and sensitivity, recognizing how deeply these experiences can shape your sense of self and well-being.
I offer therapy in both English and French.
My hope is to provide a space, both online and in-person, where you feel supported, understood, and not alone in what you’re going through. It would be an honour to walk alongside you in your journey.
