Rachel Wong
I’m a Registered Social Worker with a Master of Social Work and a Master’s in Educational and Child Psychology. I provide therapy for children, youth, and families, supporting both neurotypical and neurodivergent children, including those with autism, ADHD, anxiety, emotional regulation challenges, and behavioural difficulties.
I believe that play is a child’s natural language. Through play, I help children express themselves, make sense of their feelings, and build new skills in a way that feels comfortable and engaging. I support children experiencing emotional and behavioural challenges, while working closely with parents to understand their child’s behaviour as meaningful communication.
Together, we explore practical, gentle strategies that fit your family’s unique needs. When parents are able to read and respond to their child’s cues with connection, it fosters secure attachment, emotional regulation, and meaningful, lasting change.
At the heart of my work is connection. I help families build secure, trusting relationships so children can grow with confidence, resilience, and a strong sense of being understood.
