Rosa Chung
If you are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected from yourself, or struggling to make sense of difficult emotions and experiences, therapy can provide a space to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with what matters most to you. I am Rosa Chung and together we can explore your thoughts, feelings, relationships, and life experiences with curiosity and compassion, helping you gain greater self-understanding and move toward a more authentic and fulfilling life.
I support adults, couples, and children experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and life transitions. As a third-culture individual, I am especially attuned to the experiences of those who feel caught between cultures, identities, expectations, or different versions of themselves. Whether you are navigating questions of belonging, personal growth, or emotional healing, therapy can offer a space where all parts of your experience are welcome.
My approach is holistic and relational, recognizing that healing often involves more than simply solving problems. Drawing from psychodynamic therapy, as well as cognitive behavioural, gestalt, and somatic approaches, I work collaboratively with clients to explore patterns that may have developed through earlier relationships and life experiences. By bringing greater awareness to these patterns, you can develop more choice, flexibility, and freedom in how you respond to life’s challenges.
Before entering the counselling profession, I worked as an early childhood educator, hand-poke tattoo artist, and yoga teacher. These experiences deepened my appreciation for the many ways people express themselves, heal, and create meaning in their lives. I strive to provide a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental environment where you can explore your inner world at your own pace.
Wherever you are in the world, professional support is within reach. I offer virtual counselling services in both English and Korean to clients internationally, including individuals living in South Korea, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, and Canada (British Columbia, Alberta, and Quebec).
Please note that I am based in South Korea and provide online counselling sessions only.
