Shannon Tse
You may often feel like you are falling behind, suffering alone while others are thriving, or even feel like you are broken. I don’t believe you are broken. I believe you deserve to be deeply understood and supported so you can thrive using the strengths you already have. As a Counselling Psychology master’s student supervised by a registered psychologist, I want to truly understand you as a person without judgment, helping to find practical, tailored ways to navigate your challenges and create long-lasting changes.
Together, we can explore the patterns that keep you stuck and build practical skills for you to try. Through intentional action, you may slowly begin to see yourself and the world differently. I will be alongside you to listen, encourage, and support you. Because growth often happens within relationships, my goal is to create a secure space where you feel safe enough to turn inwards, explore, and take risks.
I support individuals and couples navigating a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship difficulties, grief, and self-esteem challenges. While I welcome this general practice, my passion lies in two specific areas: working with individuals with ADHD, and helping couples navigate disconnection and conflict. My clinical training includes cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), emotionally focused therapy (EFT), and parts work.
Outside of therapy, I’m happiest when exploring new interests—even if I don’t master every single one. I enjoy learning for the sake of learning and believe there’s immense value in curiosity, flexibility, and finding joy in the process.
