Tetyana Pavlyna
Hello! My name is Tetyana Pavlyna. I am a Canadian Certified Counsellor and currently in the process of becoming licensed as a Provisional Psychologist. My background is in healthcare, where I have been working since 2018 across a variety of settings, including mental health, inpatient psychiatry, and day hospital programs.
Over the past four years, I have focused on supporting youth and adolescents in both healthcare and school environments. These experiences have allowed me to develop a strong understanding of the unique challenges young people face, as well as the importance of creating a safe, supportive space for growth and healing.
My approach to therapy is client-centred and grounded in a holistic perspective. I integrate evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), while working through a trauma-informed lens. I believe in looking at the whole person, considering emotional, psychological, and environmental factors, to support meaningful and lasting change.
I am passionate about helping individuals better understand themselves, build resilience, and develop the tools they need to navigate life’s challenges. Together, we will work toward improving your well-being in a way that feels collaborative, supportive, and empowering.
